ROSIE CREEK FARM

Midnight Sun Magic in Every Strain

In interior Alaska, a stone’s throw from where little Rosie Creek enters the Tanana river, is a small farm. Carved out of the pristine boreal forest on soils of glacial silt, rich in organic matter, Rosie Creek Farm has been growing crops since 1997.

First growing cut flowers and organic vegetables for farmers’ markets and restaurants, they received their USDA Organic certification in 2005. In 2016, when the State of Alaska offered commercial licenses, Rosie Creek Farm obtained the first license to grow commercial marijuana. To date, Rosie Creek Farm is the only farm in Alaska to grow their cannabis crop entirely outside under the midnight sun.

From Farm to Bowl

Farming is more than just a livelihood…

It’s a way of life, deeply rooted in respect for the land and its natural rhythms. Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts into this farm, growing everything from peonies to vegetables, and now, premium cannabis strains unique to the Tanana Valley.

Every plant here is a labor of love, nurtured with care and a commitment to sustainability. We let the soil lead the way, rotating crops and planting cover crops to ensure it stays rich and vibrant. To us, this isn’t just farming; it’s a partnership with nature. We believe when you treat the land with respect, it gives back in abundance—not just in what it grows but in the joy and fulfillment it brings. Rosie Creek is more than a farm; it’s home, and we are grateful every day to share its bounty with the world.

Harvesting in the Last Frontier

Growing in harmony with nature is what sets us apart.

Producing trimmable buds in our unique environment comes with its own rewards and challenges. Our gentle, diffuse sunlight—especially in late summer during our main harvest—encourages flowers to stretch gracefully toward the light. This natural “openness” creates airy, larfy blooms that promote excellent airflow, significantly reducing the risk of mold during our moist August harvests. While these loose-structured flowers are ideal for crafting high-quality pre-rolls, we’re also proud to produce beautifully trimmed buds from our early harvests, which mature under the brighter days of late June and early July. It’s all part of working in harmony with our Alaskan surroundings to bring you the best our farm has to offer!

After harvest and careful trimming, our plants are gently hung under shade cloth in our greenhouses before being moved to humidity-controlled rooms for a slow, monitored cure. To preserve freshness, they’re stored in “terp lock” bags until processing. We take great pride in handcrafting our pre-rolls, never using mechanical grinders. After a thorough sifting to remove shake, each bud undergoes a 5-step hand grinding process, ensuring the highest quality control. Our pre-rolls are made with only hand-ground flower—no trim—and are carefully packed in organic hemp cones. Multi-packs are packaged in eco-friendly, plant-based biodegradable plastics, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.
